Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to Lucid Lab and Lucid Lab Pro, made and sold by Lucid Labs ("we", "us"). By downloading Lucid Lab or buying a subscription you agree to them.

Who you are buying from

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your payment, receipt, any VAT or sales tax and refunds are handled by Paddle under Paddle's buyer terms; the software and its licence come from us.

The licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Lucid Lab on Macs you own or control. Lucid Lab is free to use. Lucid Lab Pro adds features while your subscription is active; one subscription covers up to two Macs at a time. You may not resell, sublicense, share your licence key publicly, or try to get around the licence checks. The software is licensed, not sold; we keep all rights in it.

Subscriptions and the trial

Lucid Lab Pro is billed monthly or yearly in advance and renews automatically until you cancel. Every new installation includes a 14-day trial of Pro with no payment details; when it ends, Lucid Lab continues as the free version. You can cancel at any time in your billing portal; Pro then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment fails, Pro stays active for seven days while you update your card. We may change prices for future billing periods; we will tell you before a change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.

Your work

Your projects, audio and everything you make stay yours. Lucid Lab works on your Mac; changes to a project are shown to you and applied only when you confirm them. Keep your own backups: you are responsible for your projects and files.

Warranty and liability

Lucid Lab is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable but do not promise that it is free of errors or that it suits every purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, work or profits, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.

Ending

You can stop using Lucid Lab at any time. We may end a licence that is used against these terms. Sections on liability and your work survive.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and material changes are announced before they apply. Questions: support@lucidlabsaudio.com.
